Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

In this rewarding role, you will provide direct patient care to geriatrics, adults, adolescents and children with psychiatric disorders to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
The Director of Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance is a liaison to department directors and administration to ensure that the provision of quality care is monitored and continuously improved. Core functions include:
- Coordination of the facility-wide Performance Improvement Program;
- Facilitation of the medical staff components of the program in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer;
- Planning and chairing the PI function and reporting findings and activities to the Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees;
- Assistance in maintaining ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the facility;
- Assistance provided to managers and leadership in establishing best practices based on research and data analysis; and
- Promoting, planning, designing, coordinating and evaluating training and educational activities for all staff.

Qualifications
- Masters prepared Social Worker or graduate of an accredited nursing program. MSN Preferred.
- Three years of clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population.
- Previous management and training experience to assure an understanding of systems management, time management, and staff development.
