Performance Health is seeking a Director of Environment, Sustainability and Social Governance. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain environmental, social and governance (ESG) systems and programs to ensure compliance and minimize risk to Performance Health and its team members.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating an ESG culture of awareness and collaboration within the business environment
  • Development, maintenance and execution of appropriate disclosure controls and procedures related to ESG; inclusion of key ESG disclosures in regulatory filings. Develop and maintain an ESG dashboard for functional leaders and the executive team. Manage ESG reporting to third parties as appropriate
  • Be responsible for the worldwide coordination, alignment, harmonization, best practice sharing and communication on ESG programs for Performance Health
  • Facilitate ESG program objective setting and facilitate strategic direction for ESG programs
  • Apply existing proactive safety tools & deploy improvements as needed
  • Develop and apply proactive ESG tools and deploy improvements as needed
  • Lead environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, water discharge & air permitting obligations
  • Lead ESG targets in correlation with Performance Health 2030 ESG targets
  • Provide effective leadership, management and coordination in achieving enterprise goals and objectives related to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Programs
  • Coordinate and engage plant (EHS) personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation ESG goals that will positively affect and contribute to the organization
  • Lead ESG reporting set and deploy standards as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of environmental sustainability experience
  • 5-7 years of experience managing corporate ESG in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Efficient in 5S programs and implementation of systems for a distribution environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Master Control
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel
