$48,000 - $60,000 a year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Administer Child and Adult Care Feeding Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) federally reimbursable meal programs including application, budgeting, site selection, training, compliance, and reimbursement.
  • Coordinate with Culinary Department to ensure volume and nutritional requirements of reimbursable meals are met within budgetary constraints.
  • Supervise Federal Meals Program Coordinator and Federal Meals Program Assistant, Summer Feeding Coordinator, and summer associates.
  • Supervise Cooking Matters Program team.
  • Oversee the DHS Pantries and Healthcare Pantries programs.
  • Represent the Food Bank in various community partnership collaborations.
  • Assist the Vice President of Direct Services in implementing and tracking new programs, community initiatives and grants.
  • Maintain accurate records and outcomes for Direct Services and produce reports as required.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and willingness to represent the Food Bank with media and community partners.
  • Good understanding of finance, budgets, and budgeting process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to work with diverse group of people at all levels within the Food Bank and the community.
