Job Summary
Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a open Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately in Eden Prairie.
Responsibilities and Duties
The client is a female looking for a DSP at 5 hours/week. She needs help with cleaning and organizing her home. She needs help with deciding what to keep, throw, donate, or sell at her community garage sales. She also needs help 2 x annually to sort, price, and put out items to sell in the garage sale. She is flexible about the days and times but does have 2 community garage sales (annually) which may require her DSP to work a weekend shift. No nights are required. She lives in her own home, and there is available parking. No driving is required. It pays at a higher rate as the DSP is responsible for running/documenting her formal outcome, and attending team meetings.
Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
- Friendly outgoing demeanor
- Some experience with organization
- Experience as a DSP or another type of caregiver
- Pass a background check
