Job Responsibilities. If you have not ran a bore machine installing utilities, do not apply for this job. Experienced only. (Including, but not limited to):
- Responsible for regular maintenance and care of the directional drill and locating equipment, produce any documentation needed for each job, communication daily with Project manager is a must.
- Drives, set ups, breaks down Safely and efficient.
- Set up shots and perform various pipe configurations of underground utility installation.
- Drills near active utilities
- Avoids any marked utilities and implements all predrilling precautions to prevent utility strikes.
- Communicates with supervisors for job details.
- Delegate’s jobsite duties to the crew
- Ability to stand for 10 plus hours a day.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work on-call, evenings and weekends as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Install remove or maintain underground utilities as directed, using a Vermeer or DW. Locator position open as well. Installing fiber optic lines. Must lead, communicate, and work well with others. Must perform good maintenance techniques and maintain the equipment/vehicle assigned to you in proper condition. Must follow all safety policies and procedures of OSHA, contractors, state, local and the company. Load material or equipment for transport from office to job site and secure as appropriate. Secure work site, equipment and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety as well as the safety of equipment and materials. Communication via spreadsheets and emails. Follow directions of supervisor for completion of work.
