SCOPE OF ROLE:
This role requires a passion for implementing and driving meaning change that contributes to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment and positive employee experience. You will serve as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) champion, and provide thoughtful and creative leadership and guidance to furthering our DE&I strategy. You will work collaboratively across the organization to identify, develop and implement actionable and measurable DE&I initiatives.

Location: Wildlight, FL - Hybrid - Remote
HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED:
- Build meaningful and collaborative relationships and partnerships with employees and leaders throughout the organization
- Take ownership and stay abreast of emerging issues and trends in DE&I
- Serve as an advocate, mentor and resource for employees, and seek to understand concerns and issues related to diversity, inclusion, equity, and engagement
- Lead our DE&I task force and work collaboratively to advance our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Work collaboratively to identify and develop initiatives to foster and achieve a more inclusive workforce
- Partner with our talent acquisition manager to develop strategies to attract and retain diverse talent
- Develop and maintain external strategic partnerships to advance DE&I initiatives within the forestry industry
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 6 plus years of experience in leading and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for an organization
- Demonstrated understanding of leading practices, innovations and challenges surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communications, interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated success building strong collaborative working relationships and influencing / leading change
