Purpose:
As part of the Investor Relations Team, you will actively manage our dialogue with the financial community in particular; institutional & retail investors and equity research analysts outside of the USA in order to support a fair valuation of Sandoz; actively participate to the definition and execution of the administrative tasks, which are relevant to the Investor Relations function

Key Responsibilities: 

Strengthen relationships with current shareholders through creation and execution of key account plans and expand shareholder base through identification of new potential targets.
 Leverage financial/industry expertise to address inquiries from investors and analysts in a timely manner, providing accurate and balanced information on a range of topics from financial to product specific. Deliver aligned messages that support the Sandoz equity story.
 Be able to present the Sandoz equity story in IR-only roadshows in an accurate, confident and clear manner, while respecting all disclosure rules and regulations.
 Plan and support execution of senior management roadshows, bank conference participation, one-on-one meetings, and other investor events (e.g., Capital Markets Day).
 Provide (or ensure 3rd party) regular reports to Senior Management, such as peer analysis, share price development, market reports, analysis of Sandoz share trading flows, shareholder ID and profiles, internal and external presentations, interim and annual results reporting materials etc.
 Analysis of analyst consensus – provide a detailed monitoring of changes, variations, provide an analysis versus internal forecasts, close collaboration with Group BPA
 Support/address Corporate Governance related issues including roadshows/investor meetings, ESG analysis, targeting/monitoring Sustainable and Responsible Investors and be point of contact for key Governance and ESG accounts
 Ensure best-in-class systems (e.g., Bloomberg, IR Insight by Nasdaq, S&P Global, Q4, AlphaSense, FactSet etc.) and screen new data providers; support back-office in price negotiations

Minimum requirements

What you will bring to the role:
Education:
 Bachelor’s degree; Finance or related area
 MBA/CFA desirable

Experience:
 8+ years’ experience in Investor Relations or Finance in the healthcare industry, ideally in the generics and/or biosimilar segment; sell-side research, investment banking or asset management with healthcare, generics and/or biosimilar focus
 Strategic thinker, strong problem-solving and influencing skills
 Excellent oral/written communication skills
 Financial modelling experience
 Ability to handle a range of complex issues/multiple projects simultaneously
 Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels

Desirable criteria
 Previous experience with the Investor Relations departments of other listed companies is a significant plus
 Previous experience with the equity sales/ marketing departments of investment banks or brokers in charge of the organization of roadshows on behalf of issuer clients is a significant plus

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400 and $249,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/22 through 12/31/22, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
