Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President Sales, the Director, National Coding Sales Leader will be responsible for prospecting, selling our coding solution services to both zero-based accounts and exsisting client base. The Direcotr National Coding Saleswill work with the existing national AE based team to support and promote coding sales in those territories, thus contributing to the success of exceeding our national coding performance as a collective sales team. In addition to traditional sales leader responsibilities, the role will also work closely with our Coding Business Unit leadership to develop and bring best market practices to promote and sell Coding Services The role will have both an individual quota for B2B Coding and HIM Interim Management Services, as well as exceeding our overall National Coding quota with the entire sales team.


Must be able to leverage their coding industry knowledge to promote sales in particular how large providers operate their coding functions and how AQuity can help them be more successful and profitable. It is expected that the Director will use their existing relationships and contacts, in addition to any net new prospecting efforts to meet or exceed his/her annual individual and team sales quota.


Ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of coding and HIM services with a proven track record of successfully leading a Coding sales team and/or HIM Interim Management team
  • Must have executive presence and aggressive approach to account identification and penetration
  • Experience in high interaction with Revenue Cycle Management, Finance Executives as well as C-Level sales experience with a preference for established relationship that can be leveraged.
  • Consistent and effective outbound calling and targeted prospecting activities with use of Salesforce integration with YesWare and ZoomInfo. Consistent follow up and follow through.
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and able to establish and meet aggressive deadlines.

Essential Functions:

  • Must meet or exceed annual Coding Service’s sales goals.
  • Develop and lead business development initiatives to successful completion of sales goals
  • Work closely with Marketing and other strategic groups within AQuity in the development of leads and prospects both from a strategic and tactical levelDevelop coding campaigns/programs and collaborate with AQuity senior leaders to engage the Sales team in promotion of campaigns.
  • Maintain a pipeline that is 3-4X quota
  • Ensure forecast opportunities are accurate according to the AQuity sales process
  • Use Salesforce.com daily to manage contacts, activities, and opportunities
  • Use ZoomInfo, YesWare and SalesForce daily to maximize your prospecting efforts and develop best practice strategizes for effective targeting.
  • Oversee Coding proposals development and contract requests
  • Lead and negotiate the sales process both externally and internally in a in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Collaborate with Coding & HIM Operations and Client Development team in providing consulting services to client. Partner with Coding team during discovery and assist with coding calls.
  • Participate in professional and industry associations such as HFMA and AHIMA
  • Remain current and expert regarding industry trends

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of healthcare sales experience with a successful track record of achieving new business development goals.
  • 5 + years of dedicated Coding sales experience a must
  • Experienced in development and managing large projects or sales teams
  • Preference for proficiency in SalesForce and experience with ZoomInfo, Definitive Healthcare and YesWare
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Up to 35% travel

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $125,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to current market conditions, location, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Aquity Solutions offers a competitive benefits package including healthcare, 401k, and paid time off (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements for full-time employees). This position may also be commission and/or bonus eligible.
