We are seeking a Director of Cloud Operations to join our team. Your daily work will include design and maintenance of the operations infrastructure in our cloud data centers (Azure, AWS, and GCP), tracking available capacity, proposing and materializing expansion plans, and managing the team of highly qualified engineers in charge of these systems. We’re a global company, so your team will consist of resources in the US, EMEA, and APAC; it includes a mix of employees, contractors, and On-Demand Talent woven into the operations of our software-as-a-service model. Responsibilities

• Manage a 24 x 7 cloud SaaS environment for production and development ensuring site uptime, performance and customer SLA’s
• Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of dedicated Azure, AWS, and GCP engineers in the adoption of Cloud and Infrastructure initiatives
• Run the vision and development of infrastructure, tools, systems, mechanisms, and operations capabilities that enable the company to innovate at a fast pace without compromising on the availability and security of services we offer customers, following industry standards
• Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion
• Ownership of all Cloud, Network, Virtualization, Server, Datacenter, and related cloud computing

Required:

• 2+ years managing a team of cloud infrastructure or DevOps resources in a cloud-native environment
• 4+ years managing cloud hosted infrastructure including Compute, Storage, and Network (vendor agnostic, but we’re Azure first at Revalize)
• 6+ years working in a technical, collaborative environment
• In-depth Linux (primary) and Microsoft Windows server (secondary) administration experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e. Information Systems, Computer Science) or comparable experience
• Pipeline development and administration (i.e. Jenkins)
• Infrastructure provisioning and management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Documentation and diagramming (Visio and/or Lucid Charts preferred)

Preferred:

• Azure AZ-900/800/801 or AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certifications
• Management of container-based environment (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud computing, data security, and network architectures
• Experience with Elastic APM, JMX, syslog, and other monitoring methods
