ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS :
1. Oversees the execution of Avenue Scholars services at the College.
2. Leads the coordination of high-impact programming, preparing students for college success.
3. Provides necessary updates and reports of the Avenue Scholars program to stakeholders.
4. Ensures Avenue Scholars’ initiatives and outcomes are met.
5. Coordinates the Avenue Scholars program application and selection process.
6. Collaborates across the College to deliver college readiness programming, to include Senior Academy and Early College experiences for Avenue Scholars.
7. Assists in identifying new opportunities and community partnerships to enhance college offerings and promote successful college onboarding, student engagement, retention and career exploration.
8. Fosters collaboration among those involved with Avenue Scholar programming.
9. Consistently and dependably attends work, activities, and functions as scheduled or assigned.

Bachelor’s degree three (3) years of related work experience in program coordination.
Equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience considered.
Experience with college retention and success programming, grant funding, or scholarship experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary/Hourly Rate $72,760 Minimum Department Scholarships
