Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

JK Executive Strategies has partnered exclusively with Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. in search of a Director of FP&A to join its team. This is a newly created position due to growth! The position is working with all companies associated with private equity firm. As the Director of FP&A you will be responsible for building and scaling the company’s FP&A function, systems, and processes to support management, lender, and investor reporting requirements. The Director of FP&A's main duties consists of building the financial budget and forecast reporting models, KPI dashboards, and other reports, as well as scaling the FP&A team as the company grows, in conjunction with the CFO. Primary Responsibilities

• Create and lead a strategic planning process.
• Own the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes with detailed variance analytics to drive understanding of the business.
• Build an understanding of business operations and challenges, become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop weekly and monthly KPIs and KPI dashboards for each operating entity.
• Build a comprehensive FP&A reporting model to support the Company's growth.
• Manage and perform special projects.
• Build and deliver monthly reporting presentations and reporting package for operating group leaders, executive management, board of directors and investor relations.
• Partner with our internal accounting team on monthly close process, financial reporting, and preparation of GAAP financial statements.
• Complete business case analyses to support major investment initiatives.
• Build or support accounting data interfaces to facilitate regular KPI reporting (internal and external).
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners and cross- functional teams throughout the Company.
• Provide support on data integration activities and business process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree required
• MBA, CFA and/or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of corporate or FP&A experience
• Highly proficient in excel with the ability to maintain and update complex KPI trackers and quickly build detailed financial models from scratch
• 3+ years of experience in private equity, or 5+ years of commercial FP&A experience
• Previous budgeting and forecasting experience, especially at private equity-backed companies, a plus.
