JOB SCOPE

As Director of Integrated Digital Strategy, you will oversee the direction, ideation, production, and overarching strategy of both brand, and conversion, content written for our individual business units across various mediums. This role owns strategy development, prioritization and differentiated messaging ensuring a holistic approach to optimizing digital and social media content.

The Director of Digital and Content Strategy will own the direction of all content building, organic distribution, repurposing and measurement of success in collaboration with internal stakeholders and potential external vendors to ensure brand alignment in support of strategic growth initiatives. This role will play an instrumental role in developing and executing influencer strategies in coordination with the Public Relations team in addition to online reputation initiatives. You’ll also participate in strategic conversations and decisions about general content strategies, setting and implementing processes that allow for our team to be as efficient and impactful as possible.

This role reports to the Executive Vice President of Marketing with a dotted line to the Vice President of Public Relations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own all digital properties and supporting optimization strategies for websites, social channels, google listings, provider profiles, etc.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve the company’s content strategies on all owned properties including websites, social media, email, collateral and more
  • Manage all owned properties and processes in platforms including WordPress, Salesforce (Marketing Cloud & Sales Cloud), Google Analytics, and Hubspot
  • Lead the implementation and transition from Hubspot to Salesforce & WordPress
  • Work closely with in house web development team on multiple projects
  • Create an efficient and accurate content creation processes in collaboration with key stakeholders and Marketing Directors
  • Develop and oversee a content distribution strategy
  • Establish KPIS and continuously measure the effectiveness of our content
  • Ensure workflow consistency
  • Utilize CMS for content publishing purposes on owned websites
  • Develop promotional strategies on social media and other marketing channels
  • Optimize content according to the latest SEO best practices
  • Support as needed in building and maintaining influencer strategy opportunities on a national scale
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar
  • Ensure that the content is contributing to business goals
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, brand voice, and core values
  • Assist with reputational management initiatives in collaboration with business unit stakeholders and public relations team
  • Collaborate with vendors and freelancers as necessary

  • Have the ability to combine the creative with the analytical, bringing content strategies to life and rigorously analyzing performance, optimizing as necessary

WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND HAZARDS

This position requires sitting for extended amounts of time with a majority of the tasks requiring typing at a computer station.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is mainly a stationary position involving sitting for long periods of time and may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. May require lifting up to 20 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital and social marketing strategy; experience in healthcare, biotech, med device and/or pharmaceuticals a plus.
  • Expert level working with WordPress and Salesforce (Marketing Cloud & Sales Cloud, email studio, mobile studio, advertising studio, intelligence studio)
  • Experience and knowledge in influencer marketing strategy, negotiation and execution a plus
  • Expertise in SEO tools and CMS
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience in both setting and executing strategy
  • Comfortable diving into data to find solutions to complex problems.
  • Exceptional project management, communication (written and verbal). Asana experience preferred
  • Experience developing, managing and working with a geographically distributed team.
  • Expert knowledge of all things Google with a strong understanding of Google Business, Google Analytics
  • Experience working with Hubspot preferred
