As a Vitality Wellness Director, you will
- Directly supervise wellness staff with respect to recruiting, hiring, evaluating, counseling, etc.
- Oversee regular competency evaluations, continuing education, and training of nurses/caregivers
- Complete Nursing Assessments, auxiliary evaluations of residents, and other required or requested evaluations
- Establish and maintain quality care systems to ensure all residents receive care as outlined on individual resident care plans.
- Oversee establishment of new residents’ care plans and physician orders and conduct plan reviews with families on a regular basis
- Monitor and audit MAR and eMAR and establishes department process for the timely and accurate tracking of resident data
- Monitor shift change notes, communication logs, pharmacy reports, incident reports, physician orders, etc., and escalates appropriately
- Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
- Occasionally fulfill shift nurse duties in order to evaluate efficiencies, systems and resident care.

- At least 2 years of experience as a Director in Assisted Living or Memory Care
- Proven leadership and teambuilding skills
- Strong experience developing individual team members and supervising a large team of frontline staff
- Proven survey history
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid financial acumen
