We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Operations in New York City.

The Director of Operations implements the operational plan and coordinates all functions of multiple teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a business or health related field. Masters Degree in Public Health/Nursing/Social Work or MBA preferred.
• A minimum of five years of home care experience with a Licensed Home Care Service Agency, Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program or other health care provider as defined by particular state regulations.
• Served in a position that required administrative, operational and supervisor responsibilities.
• Ability to use computerized systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor implementation and evaluate annual Operational Plan for multiple teams.
• In conjunction with VP of Operations, Contract Managers and their respective staff guide the development of annual Operational Plan for each team.
• Monitor on weekly/monthly basis implementation of Operational Plans and success thereof and adapt plans on an ongoing basis as necessary and appropriate.
• In conjunction with Contract Managers and their respective staff guide the development of the Contact Strategy Plans for each contract.
• Ensure full team staff knowledge of annual Operational Plan, Contract Strategy and Growth Projections
• As directed by the company, implement and monitor terms of any Collective Bargaining Agreement that affects the branch location(s).
• Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and terminate Contract Managers and office support staff for assigned teams.
• Ensure appropriate in-house staffing levels are maintained by branch.
• All other duties as assigned.
