Our client is the largest recycled resin producer in North America. The company is adding additional plants allowing them to triple their capacity making this an exciting time to join them and play an instrumental part in achieving their goals.
Job Summation:
As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy, ensuring the company's business initiatives are met or exceeded. In addition, you must grow existing accounts, generate and close new business opportunities, and work collaboratively with the C Suite and Operations.
Ideally, you have established relationships with manufacturers purchasing PE for flexible packaging.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategy in alignment with the company growth plan.
- Create, implement, and communicates sales goals to direct reports.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of new sales prospects.
- Provide reporting to C-level executives on the status of sales strategy and initiatives. Provide updates on forces that shift the strategic direction of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Provide market intelligence that includes competitive market analysis, market trends, and strategy for market entry.
- Provide advanced forecasting capabilities, and work collaboratively with operations in the area of inventory controls.
Primary Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's in Science, Marketing, or Business. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum ten years of previous sales experience selling polymers, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or High-density polyethylene (HDPE). HIGHLY PREFERRED experience with LDPE (low density polyethylene) or Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). HIGHLY PREFERRED experience selling PE in the flexible packaging markets.
- Minimum five years of experience in a strategic sales role where you are developing and executing sales plans and leading a highly motivated and successful sales team.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
This is a nationwide search. The successful candidate must reside in the Greater Houston, TX area. There is a comprehensive relocation package available. This individual can not work hybrid or remote.
Salary range provided is a base salary of $150K to $180K with a 35% bonus. Top of the salary range is reserved for candidates presently leading teams that sale PCR,PE or PP to flexible packaging companies.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $245,000.00 per year
