Provides Executive leadership of Youth Services and Prevention Services. Supervision and management of agency Youth Community Support/ Youth Crisis, School Based Services and Prevention Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Direct supervision, vision and leadership of Youth Services/Youth Crisis Manager, School Based Services Manager and Prevention Manager.
- Oversight and management of the community clinical applications of agency Missouri Show Me Zero Youth Suicide initiative.
- Responsible for oversight of hiring, training and supervision (direct and indirect) of Youth Services/Youth Crisis Manager, School Based Services Manager and Prevention Manager.
- Completes annual performance evaluations in accordance with agency policy.
- Serves as the agency liaison for youth community partners. Ensures continued communication with community partners to ensure successful outreach to the school districts, health departments and other community partners.
- Ensures productivity standard achievement of assigned staff and oversees and approves all youth and prevention program budgets.
- In coordination with QI Director, contributes to quality assurance and compliance oversight of all youth, school based and community clinical programing. This will include both agency and provider intake/crisis clinicians by conducting documented periodic sample review of client records; monitoring, as applicable, any plans of correction developed as a result of above reviews; and providing compliance related training and technical assistance, as indicated, to teams.
- Ensures the integration and collaboration with agency services to ensure holistic client treatment.
- Coordinates all team functions including team meetings, staffing problematic client situations, providing in home team stabilization to prevent hospitalizations, staffing negative client outcomes with regards to what staff might have done differently to improve outcomes.
- Maintains and enforces professional standards of conduct and regulatory guidelines. Participates in utilization review panel and credentialing meetings as needed.
- Maintains positive image of Agency, demonstrating professionalism and integrity interfacing with resources and community contracts outside of the agency.
- Maintains knowledge of agency technology programs and/or systems needed to perform the job effectively.
- Assists the Chief Clinical Officer in identification of service gaps and steps to address service needs.
- Participates as an active member of Executive Team.
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Certifications:
- Master's Degree
- LPC/LCSW required
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Active driver's license and minimum state-required auto-insurance.
- 5+ years minimum work-related experience minimum required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
- Strong understanding of Trauma Informed Care principles and practices.
- Prior healthcare technology software experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present healthcare information in an understandable manner to both individuals and groups as needed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, terminology, diagnoses, and best practice knowledge required.
- The ability to develop various presentations, trainings and programs on various clinical topics.
