Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Director, Quality Improvement oversees quality program. As the director, you are responsible for the daily operations and execution for the strategic direction of the Medi-Cal QI Programs. This includes oversight and coordination of multiple program workstreams, ensuring the program is progressing and meeting milestones, and identifying and addressing barriers to achieve the program outcomes. You will collaborate with multiple external and internal partners to achieve success in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and implement quality improvement programs such as HEDIS and CAHPS.
• Oversee SFHP's quality assurance functions: NCQA accreditation and clinical grievances and complaints resolutions.
• Collaborate with external and internal partners to align interests and goals, and advance the initiative work
• Lead a high performance team by supporting the development of departmental goals and metrics, and ensuring they are used to motivate staff and performance. Provide coaching and career development to staff, ensuring high morale and commitment.
• Manage the team's budget.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• RN or Master's Degree in health administration, public health, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of senior level management experience in quality improvement.
• 5+ years of experience with a managed care organization or health care management preferred.
