Dishwasher, Porter Job at Tufts Medicine
We are seeking a Porter/ Dishwasher to join our growing organization !
- Per Diem/ Rotating Shift: 1st and 2nd shift
This is a great opportunity to work close to home and earn extra income with flexible scheduling.
Job Duties
- Washes dishes, dishware and silverware by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
- Records and documents Dish machine temperatures per shift, notifies manager of any occurrences.
- Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and cutting boards.
- Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
- Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Returns empty bottles and cans to recycle bin located in receiving /loading dock area.
- Removes crushed cardboard to designated areas.
- Completes daily cleaning assignments as assigned or scheduled.
- Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room. Completes any requisitions as required.
Requirements:
- Steady work history
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
