WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Our ClosetMaid facility is in Ocala, FL. It is a 600,000 sq. ft. manufacturing distribution and office facility.

eCommerce- Third Shift (10:30PM to 7:00AM) Thursday to Monday, overtime when needed.

Third Shift pays an additional $1 per hour shift differential pay.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Performs shipping & receiving duties for eCommerce customer orders, and other distribution areas as assigned.
• Reads and documents pack-slips and Bills of Lading (BOL’s)
• Breaks down freight and categorizes product to fill or pick from bin locations.
• Load and unload freight by hand and operating powered equipment such as electric pallet jack, forklift, and order picker
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
• Conveys materials from storage, floor, or bin locations to designated area
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled using bin locators or floor locations for inventory accuracy
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
• Assembles customer orders from stock, sorts, and places materials or items on pallets according to shipping order
• Marks materials with identifying labels
• Operates: Electric Pallet Jacks, Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift, Turret Trucks upon completion of on-the-job training and powered equipment certification.
• Use computer station with scanning equipment, training will be provided.
• Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates
• Supports distribution operations in other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be comfortable operating powered equipment, working at heights over 20 feet.
• Good Safety Record
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
• Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates

Preferred

• High School Diploma/GED
• Forklift, Order Picker and Turret Truck

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use left and/or right hand for simple grasping; fine work, pushing/pulling and low speed assembly. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
