Overview:
Otter Products is currently hiring for two Distribution Operations Supervisor, 2nd Shift to join our Configuration to Order (CTO) and Outbound teams at our Frederick, CO Distribution Center.

2nd Shift Supervisor: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (MDT)

The Distribution Operations Supervisor will oversee the distribution center operations within their assigned function. This role will work cross-functionally to partner with other supervisors, associate managers and managers throughout the supply chain functional area to maintain best in class operations and work to implement process improvements as necessary. The Distribution Operations Supervisor role will partner with associate managers and managers to maintain a healthy culture and uphold strong employee performance. This role may be assigned to scheduling, manual, automation or distribution center (DC). This is a people leader role.

  • Oversee and maintain warehouse and distribution center operations in scheduling, manual, automation or DC
  • Assist the associate manager and/or manager in continuously assessing and adjusting staffing requirements to meet the business’ needs
  • Implement and operationalize process improvements as necessary
  • Partner cross-functionally within supply chain to ensure we are delivering product on time as expected
  • Active prioritization of work for assigned area
  • Assist the associate manager and/or manager with coaching, mentoring and conducting employee reviews along with disciplinary action
  • Manage assigned configuration shift with a focus on quality, safety and on-time performance
  • Utilize a servant leadership mindset to lead, coach and develop configuration supervisors and staff
  • Partner cross-functionally to review and develop configuration processes as well as recommend process improvement opportunities that align with short and long term organizational goals
  • Oversee our relationship with external staffing agencies and partner with supervisors to maintain appropriate staffing levels with a focus on maintaining a healthy culture
  • Manage and resolve escalated people, process and customer issues including but not limited to: product quality, employee performance and attendance, process gaps, etc.
  • Lead supervisors in managing build prioritization and communication of daily configuration needs
  • Responsible for tracking and report out of quality and productivity metrics that drive processes and people decisions directly affecting the organizations decision making process
  • Participate in overall goal setting, objectives and results tracking with a focus on culture, quality and people
  • Operate in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), ensuring all safety procedures are done timely and effectively, reporting discrepancies to CTO Manager, instructing and following proper protocols for incidents
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum three years of warehouse and/or distribution experience required.
  • Experience must include one year in a mentor, leader, supervisor or manager role.
