Job Summary:
Responsible for pulling, loading and delivering supplies and equipment to all OMC departments and affiliates in an efficient, timely manner. Responsible for returning supplies and equipment to Materials Management when appropriate. Responsible for handling mail services and mail distribution. Also responsible for conducting accurate periodic inventory counts on nursing Par locations. Delivers or returns supplies as necessary to bring the quantity of each supply item to the established par level. Then charges or credits the location appropriately. Pulls and loads storeroom supplies as ordered via pick sheets, telephone and/or walk-in orders. Delivers and/or returns all forms, paper, solutions, supplies and equipment to using department. Communicates, coordinates and documents all necessary information regarding supplies distribution between Materials Management and their customers. Delivers random (STAT) emergency or unusual supplies to the using department as soon as possible. Learns and maintains a good working knowledge of the Lawson materials management computer system for issuing, receiving, exchange cart processing and other related processes. Assists with inventory counts as needed. Communicates openly daily with Materials Management associates regarding inventory levels to be sure stock outages and over-stock situations are avoided. Operate and be OSHA certified to operate a forklift. Assist in receiving supplies and equipment at the dock. Document receipt of all items via the computer system. Deliver items received to the appropriate storage or using location. Assist with answering telephone and directing calls and walk-in customers. Prioritize work flow to meet deadlines. Prepare outgoing mail daily for pick-up by the USPS. Maintain knowledge of current postal and shipping rates and other information to help insure that OMC can take advantage of the best shipping values, including companies such as C&S Mailing. Assist with other additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Customer relations, Microsoft Office, operate office equipment, organizational, & verbal communication
  • Valid Driver’s Licenses – required Upon Hire

Be a strategic advisor and have a positive influence in helping to reduce OHSI capital acquisition costs, as well as the ongoing operating expenses associated with products and services from a Supply Chain perspective.
