Diversity & Inclusion Director - ERG (Offsite)

Description

We are looking for a talented Diversity & Inclusion Director, specializing in Employee Resource Group Oversight, to join our team at Cummins . This is a US based offsite role with up to 30% travel.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead, manage, and strategically direct corporate diversity, equity and inclusion programs that help employees feel welcomed, valued, respected, and heard
  • Provide leadership and support for the Global Inclusion Leadership Council (GILC), which consists of an executive sponsor and chair for each of the six dimensions of diversity represented at the company and serves to amplify the voices and harness the collective power of employee resource group (ERG) members to effect positive change at Cummins
  • Provide oversight for the budget and operation of 130 employee resource group chapters around the six dimensions of diversity
  • Partner with business leaders to identify short and long-term regional and global projects to be undertaken; direct needs analysis in collaboration with business leaders to determine project timelines; oversee analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication, and integration; approve workflow and project design.
  • Secure senior leader sponsorship of projects and approval of objectives; keep business leadership apprised of project status and developments; monitor project success measures and understands the status of specific projects and assignments.
  • Delegate project assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs; provide developmental feedback to team members
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and meaningful consultation regarding inclusion in external and internal DE&I surveys and awards

Education/Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Certification preferred
  • Experience leading and directing employee resource groups
  • Demonstrated large scale project management experience

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: 140K-185K

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
