Overview

SCCI is seeking a Division Manager to take over the day to day and strategic operations in our Technical Programs Division located in Dahlgren, Virginia. The Division Manager will be responsible for providing support to technical programs, leadership to Program Managers and their personnel and developing new business.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure program contract requirements are met on time and within budget
• Prepare monthly budget and financial plan
• Understand market trends and recognize market opportunities to develop new business and grow the division
• Ensure communication is effective and ongoing throughout the division and between teams
• Develop and contribute to strategic plans and ensure the understanding, alignment and commitment to meeting goals
• Define and establish clear performance standards
• Collaborate to ensure that resources are prioritized, in place, and used to achieve objectives
• Effectively use established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource management
• Participate in financial forecasting and planning along with other members of the management team
• Effectively use established processes to: select, align, develop, motivate, manage and retain a team of highly skilled managers and staff
• Create a workplace climate that ensures respect, teamwork, open communication, and professional recognition among a diverse workforce

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and either have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supporting DOD contracts along with Business Operation's management and have a proven track record of taking on increased responsibilities
• Great communication and interpersonal skills modeling a high standard of courtesy and cooperation
• Experience with government contracting requirements
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships internally and externally
• Experience building a culture of collaboration and teamwork
• Experience developing business and building relationships with employees of Naval Surface Warfare Centers, particularly Dahlgren Division
