Hands N Paws is hiring Pet Care Techs (Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters) for our Columbus, Ohio service area!
We are looking for motivated, organized individuals to join our team. A passion for animals, strong time management, and good communication skills are absolute MUSTS! This job prefers those individuals who have prior pet care experience!
Our ideal candidates possess the following qualities:
- OUTWARD COMPASSION (get those high-pitched, baby-tone voices ready for use!)
- PATIENCE (after all, some pets will be a bit tough to handle!)
- PUNCTUALITY (ya gotta be on time to work, period.)
- RESPECT (after all, we'll be trusting you to go into peoples' homes unsupervised.)
- DETAIL-ORIENTED (every single pet will have detailed and individualized needs!)
- PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS (sometimes you'll be stuck, so have your thinking cap handy!)
- CONFIDENCE (in our company and brand, which we will work to instill in you!)
- TEAM-ORIENTED (we work remotely & independently, but we sure are pretty dang tight-knit!)
- Ability to work with cats as well (if you have an allergy, we may be able to make an exception!)
Minimum Requirements:
- Local full-time resident of Ohio
- High school diploma/GED
- Able to provide documentation that verifies legal authorization to work in the US
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation or a vehicle registered in your name
- Must hold an automobile insurance policy
- Must own a smartphone or other device that is compatible with company proprietary applications
- Able to perform moderate physical activity for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
