JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Down Stocking Lead assists the Down Stocking Team in handling daily operations of the Down Stocking department. This individual will ensure that Aisles Stocking Zone In Charge maintains its respective Aisles and Associates in a manner consistent with department rules and the company’s policies and procedures.
Essential Functions

● Assists the Down Stocking Supervisor in providing guidance, training, and leadership to all Down Stocking associates.
● Leads all Down Stocking Zone in Charge and associates and closely monitors their work to ensure aisle/shelves/bins are filled or refilled in a timely manner.
● Handles Down Stocking associates’ questions regarding mislabeling bins, out of stock inventory, shelves stocking, products finding.
● Track and report on daily activities and associates’ productivity.
● Assemble and analyze data for department reports and Submit KPI on a monthly basis.
● Prepares daily workloads and assigns daily tasks to Down StockingAssociates and Zone In Charge.
● Assists Down Stocking associates in resolving issues related to inventory discrepancies, location errors, etc.
● Verifies that all products in every aisle are properly labeled and stocked and ensures aisles are organized and clean.
● Regularly observes and ensures associates consistently follow all established rules, policies, and procedures.
● Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager/warehouse manager.
● Responsible for getting the full warehouse Overstocked Scanned accurately on a weekly basis and uploading it in the system in a timely manner.
● Responsible for getting the Overstock loaded in the correct zones daily.
● Responsible for maintaining the assets of the department daily.
● Responsible for helping to the shipping department with Case Quantity orders/RTV/Expired items etc.
● Responsible for Bin Rotations on a weekly basis from each zone.
● Responsible for Getting the pallets staged on the shelves in the warehouse.
● Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager/Warehouse Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility
This person will lead a team of Down Stocking Associates.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and bins throughout the warehouse. Frequent use computer, ladders and other stocking equipment are also expected.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Days and hours to be specified.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
A minimum of HS Diploma or GED and one year of a factory- or warehouse-related experience in receiving and stocking. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required. Must be able to use warehouse equipment such as ladders, cutting tools, etc.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate degree. Experience with inventory management systems and e-commerce platform.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
