DRIVER part time- South Suburbs Job at CTF Illinois
Are you someone who loves to drive and you are looking for a position where you can make a difference? CTF Illinois is looking for Part Time Drivers to transport our individuals with developmental disabilities for the Orland Park area. This is a part time position with a split shift. The split shift would include 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.
New wage starting at $14.00/hour
Essential Job Functions:
- Transport individuals to and from the day program within the allotted time, in order for the individuals to arrive at the day program on time.
- Ability to drive different size vehicles including but not limited to: shuttle buses, passenger vehicles, mini vans and cars
- Complete attendance sheet in the morning and afternoon
- Reports accidents, if any and takes appropriate action when needed
- Communicates with appropriate person regarding behavior, seizures, disruptions, etc. on the van
- Communicates with appropriate persons all needs pertaining to vehicle, such as oil changes and regular maintenance.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be 23 years old with a High School diploma or GED
- Current/ valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Pass a PACE physical which includes a drug test and physical
- Attend a PACE certification class on a Saturday in Arlington Heights (1 paid training class)
- 1 or more years’ experience working with the DD population preferred but not required.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
