Therapists 2 Go’s Early Intervention Program provides in-home services to children and families of the 5 boroughs of New York City. Evaluations, Service Coordination, Special Education, Social Work, ABA, Occupational, Physical & Speech Therapy.
Candidates should be nurturing and creative with the ability to make the “Home” a supportive and safe place for educational learning for all children.
We are now hiring:
- Teachers with certification title (e.g., Special Education [Birth – Grade 2] or Students with Disabilities [Birth – Grade 2]
- Social Workers - licensed master social workers (LMSWs) and licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs)
We are seeking full-time and part-time ABA therapists to provide early intervention services to children with autism, ages birth to three years old.
Positions available in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and select learning experiences and strategies that take into account child’s home experience
- Provide family with the information, skills, and support related to enhancing the skill development of the child
- Create daily structured routines and activities for children with developmental disabilities and medical conditions (Autism, Downs Syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis)
- Deliver creative and interactive activities to children to improve cognitive, communication, social-emotional, fine/gross motor, and adaptive ADL skills
- Establish collaboration with families and service providers to support and share the educational needs of their children to meet their IFSP goals
- Maintain progress reports and participate in meetings related to the child
- Identify biological and environmental conditions that affect the child’s development and learning
- Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
Requirements:
Must have knowledge of Early Childhood Development, specific to children ages Birth to 5
- Knowledge of New York State laws/ regulations related to Early Intervention
- Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with databases
- Must possess strong time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience working with children birth to 5 years
- Must be comfortable going into the field and working in pre-schools, daycare centers and/or homes.
Required Education and Experience:
- Required Master’s in Early Childhood Education/Special Education.
- Must be certified in New York State as an Teacher of Special Education (Birth-2)
- Certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) .
- Licensed Master’s/Clinical Social Work (LMSW) or (LCSW)
Skills & Knowledge
- Collaborate with the family and a multi-disciplinary team to develop goals and outcomes for children
- Educate family members on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
