Summary/Objective

The E-Commerce Sales Specialist is responsible for data analysis, re-pricing, listing optimization requests, inventory review, and sales reporting review among other duties for specific Weisser Distributing brands and products.

Essential Functions

Review pricing and compare to our competitors’ pricing; adjust pricing as needed to meet our business strategy

Understand keyword analysis of products to determine potential opportunities

Maintain and understand workload data through spreadsheet tracking

Review our product content and compare to what's in the actual listing content; submit optimization requests to Content team as needed

Review inventory levels when necessary

Performance will be monitored through workload tracking and weekly workloads will be established by the sales manager

Must have basic understanding of how each marketplace works

This position will have no direct reports. The E-Commerce Sales Specialist will work directly alongside the E-Commerce Sales Manager to execute strategies to maximize WD’s brand sales and private label sales.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position and the hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday 8a-5p. This will be a hybrid position, with a preferred 3:2 office to home ratio.

Weisser Distributing offers a hybrid work model for some positions. WD may allow employees to work from home, on the road, or from appropriate satellite locations for all or part of their regular workweek.

Employees utilizing hybrid model working are responsible for communicating their physical working location with their manager on a daily basis. This ensures proper safety check in procedures in case of an emergency. Employees are expected to follow all procedures and work rules when working on-site.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Some work may also be done remotely in a public or home office environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 50 pounds.

Desired Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

E-Commerce Knowledge and Experience preferred

Strong computer skills including Excel Spreadsheets
