Education Support Specialist Job at Moraine Valley Community College
Under the supervision of the WIOA Youth Program Manager, the Education Support Specialist will assist the Career Connections Youth Program with the implementation of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) by co-facilitating program work readiness classes, assisting with client management, participating in outreach activities, and other support activities of the program. The Education Support Specialist is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree and one (1) to three (3) years’ experience required.
Education or teaching experience; Work readiness and financial literacy experience preferred.
Spanish speaker preferred but not required.

Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, provide consistent, high quality work,
