Cognosante is looking for a motivated, hands-on Clinical Business Analysts with strong logic and interpersonal skills who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing Enterprise Data Warehouse/Lake Team. As a Clinical Business Analysts, you will serve as a primary point of contact with the client’s Business Staff. The Clinical Business Analyst will support the EDW Project Manager and EDW Technical Architect with implementing the EDW solution. The Clinical Business Analysts will assist with the implementation of the end-to-end Data Ecosystem solution by taking into consideration the client’s business case, objectives, requirements, constraints, technology landscape, and technology standards. They must be a healthcare professional with a preference for a Registered Nurse or equivalent with a minimum of five years’ experience in a clinical healthcare setting with EHR experience. Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying and meeting customer business objectives, leading team members, and working in a collaborative environment to ensure customer success
- Liaising between the Data Ecosystem team, executive sponsors, and key business and technical stakeholders
- Acting as an information source and communicator between business branches
- Soliciting functional and technical requirements related to the Data Ecosystem
- Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth
- Enhancing the quality of Data Ecosystem products and services
- Partner with clients through the pre-launch to launch to post-launch journey enabling suitable data management and insights along the way
- Directly work with senior client stakeholders in a highly consultative and responsive manner, to deliver high-quality output
- Work with clients to understand the business objectives, project requirements, understand the ecosystem, clinical analytics and reporting requirements to help implement a solution / platform
- Provide overall Clinical Subject Matter Expertise, including assisting the IDA Vendor with testing and QA of the product and product updates to ensure clinical compliance and clinical integrity of the solution, such as validation that clinical data is displaying properly, non-duplicative clinical data is available or being displayed, correct clinical data is being processed, stored, and displayed, and the solution is correct and usable by clinical staff
- Assist the DOM team with user acceptance testing (UAT) of the solution for clinical compliance, such as with any changes, updates, patches, or fixes as necessary and requested by DOM.
- Perform responsibilities onsite in Jackson Mississippi up to 80 hours per month until after project go-live
- Provide onsite support and resources during all testing (for DDI and then after go-live) including supporting the DOM team in testing updates, patches, fixes, and upgrades, for the duration of contract
Required Qualifications
- Must be a healthcare professional with a preference for a Registered Nurse or equivalent with a minimum of five years’ experience in a clinical healthcare setting with EHR experience.
- This resource must possess strong knowledge in all aspects of patient care and clinical workflows, technical expertise to include strong understanding of business requirements development, in addition to providing clinical support that will meet the clinical requirements of the overall solution.

- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Superior presentation, management, and organizational skills
- Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
- Experience working with normalized and denormalized data structures
- Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic priorities and respond to timelines with a sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of Data Management / Data Lake / Data Analytics & Reporting experience
- One (1) or more years of experience with Snowflake or Databricks implementations
- Experience with healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data manipulation and analysis
- Strong understanding of the utility of different types of data assets and experience with Database query (SQL), Data Catalog and Data Quality and Management technologies
- Agile/Scrum Certification
- Lean Six Sigma
Compensation
$108,349.72 - $173,361.67
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
