Hudson Egg Farms, LLC is a local, family run farm in Elbridge, NY that supplies eggs to the Central New York area and beyond. We are hiring for the egg processing room on the egg packaging line. You will be part of the local food system where the eggs you pack will end up in local grocery stores and restaurants in our community and region.

No pet birds, backyard flocks, ducks, turkeys, pheasants or geese for biosecurity purposes.

Job Description:

Egg Packers are responsible for placing egg cartons, flats, and other packaging materials into boxes and crates. Egg Packers must be able to lift 25-30lbs, read labels, check dates, clean up messes, keep their work stations organized and communicate with others. Additionally, individuals must strive to meet food safety, sanitation standards, and be comfortable working around automation.

This is a team environment, cross training and promotion is available. Egg Packers must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work on their feet. We are USDA inspected, and New York Grown and Certified. You cannot own birds or be in contact with birds to work at Hudson Egg Farms, LLC.

Typical Processing Hours: ~25-30 hours a week, weekly pay check

Monday: 6:30 am-3pm

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 7:30am-1:30pm

The position is Monday-Friday and year round. Extra hours available on Saturdays.

Benefits: Paid lunch and 2 dozen eggs a week for $1.00.

Employer matched Simple IRA retirement plan and 40 hours paid sick time.

After 1 year, 5 paid vacation days.
