Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Works safely and effectively with all plant electrical circuits including 480V, 277V, 120V, and 24V systems
• Installs, programs, and troubleshoots AC Drives, as well as Servo Drives
• Installs, programs and troubleshoots Allen Bradley family of programmable controllers with primary emphasis on the Control-Logix platform
• Installs, programs, and troubleshoots HMI and operating software
• Ability to install various types of conduit (Rigid, Seal-tight, EMT,etc.)
• Experience with Distillation and Packaging Equipment
• Skilled performance of all plant electrical duties including PLC & MCC installation and maintenance
• Read and comprehend all electrical schematics
• Possess ability to install, trouble-shoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, clean and maintain machinery, equipment, fixtures, piping and plumbing systems, etc.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, manuals, drawings, computer screens, sketches
• Responsibilities include skilled performance of industrial mechanical and electrical duties such as Distillery/ Bottling equipment maintenance and installation, including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps.
• Work with other maintenance technicians to help increase their knowledge and skills as it pertains to this position.
• Commitment for the Company’s ISO program including the quality and food safety of our products.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:

• Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician
• Technical training and 5 years of experience in industrial setting or the equivalent.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for both relay logic & PLC controls.
• Basic electrical skills covering 480v 3ph system, transformers, AC & DC drives, power supplies, etc.
• Must possess ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must have a proven record of successful maintenance experience, with a mastery of skills needed to perform everyday maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
• Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent safety and attendance records.

Physical requirements
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job:

• Must be able to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must be able to work in high temperature environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to shoulder on a regular basis
• Must be able to physically navigate a plant/production environment, including the repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways.
• Must not be afraid of working from heights and be able to ascend and descend ladders and in aerial lifts, as needed.
