Menzner Hardwoods Co. is seeking qualified individuals for our Maintenance Department for first shift in our Somerset, KY location.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs electrical installation and maintenance work throughout all facilities, including general maintenance on all buildings and equipment. Must be familiar with and able to perform hydraulic and pneumatic work.

LIFTING / STANDING / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires continuous standing and walking to various work locations throughout all plant locations. Specific assignments may require varying physical working positions. Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies up to 55 lbs. Must be able to work from heights (boom lift) occasionally.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Flexible in completing job duties as assigned. Must work overtime as required and on-call as required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able and willing to travel to our multi-state plant locations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Ability to read electrical blue prints.
• Install and maintain wiring and electrical equipment.
• Electrical set-ups on equipment control panels.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues; such as trouble shooting and repairing/installing a wide range of industrial wood working equipment, including automated production lines.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

First Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Starting Base Pay Rate depending on skill and experience.

$2,500 Sign-on Bonus
