Electronics Technician II Job at Oregon State Lottery

About the Role
You will report to the Electronics Supervisor and repair Video Lottery Terminal modules to operational functionality. You will also create support documentation to help repair video lottery terminals.
You Will:
- Apply Lottery Management Core Values and Expectations in performing daily activities. Ensure conduct embodies the principles of fairness, integrity, security, and honesty. Support and integrate into their work the Lottery's commitment to Responsible Gambling, DEIB, and a Culture of Safety.
- Repair and refurbish individual Video Lottery Terminal modules by replacing or adjusting defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
- Develop documentation for failure analysis.
- Develop and perform high-level technical tests and analysis to resolve atypical component failures. Track Video Lottery Terminals failure trends.
- Develop support documentation related to Video Lottery Terminals.
- Be the subject matter expert for us regarding electronic functionality.
- Provide technical training for Lottery staff.
- Procure parts and manage inventory and related documentation.
- Research equipment and component needs, sources, prices, delivery times and ongoing operational costs.
You Have:
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and three (3) years of experience using electronic test equipment and soldering equipment. Experience solving problems related to analog, digital, networking and microprocessor functions; OR
- Five (5) years of experience using electronic test equipment and soldering equipment. Experience solving problems related to analog, digital, networking and microprocessor functions.
