We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to support our embroidery team on 1st shift. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for the embroidery team.

1st Shift: 7:00am -3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Salary: $18-$23 per hour (dependent on experience)

Essential Functions:

• Perform quality control checks
• Independently identify, troubleshoot and prevent common embroidery errors
• Provide quality feedback to operators and leadership
• Mentor and train embroidery operators on best practices
• Assist operators with daily functions as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine best means for maintenance and repairs, whether it be outsourcing or performing the work in-house
• Perform other related responsibilities as may be assigned or required

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma
• 4 years’ experience in textile manufacturing (Embroidery) is required
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Experience with Tajima embroidery machines is preferred
• Experience with Punto software is a plus
• Lean manufacturing or similar experience a plus
• Ability to demonstrate high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of manufacturing
• Ability to motivate employees in a positive manner and instill a passion to follow best practices
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements & Conditions:

• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist on a regular basis
• Excellent vision including ability to adjust focus, close vision, distant vision, color awareness, and attention to small details.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
