About the Team
The Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team at ByteDance designs and implements the global sustainability and social impact strategy, working collaboratively across disciplines to bring the right resources, expertise, and experience to each aspect of CSR. Our team is seeking bright professionals to join us build out our programs. In this role, you will be part of the design and implementation of our Employee Impact engagement programs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of global CSR employee engagement program portfolio that cultivates a positive, open and innovative culture for those who seek to make a positive difference.
• Deliver valuable employee opportunities that promote sustainability and social impact initiatives through giving, volunteering (traditional and skills-based, including implementing a new Volunteer Time Off policy) and product development opportunities, enriching the employee experience and amplifying our social impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive global program awareness, geographic localization, and broad workforce participation across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Partner with Communications to develop and deliver CSR engagement narrative that keeps employees informed and motivated to participate in these offerings.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and develop insights by utilizing metrics from internal data such as from employee surveys, and external data such as partner outcomes, to measure and optimize, on an ongoing basis.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in employee engagement and/or CSR programs.
• Strong 'customer service' mindset, enjoys interacting with employees across cultures.
• Knowledge of NGOs, social impact and industry best practices, and CSR trends and concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to support the development of analytics and metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective internal and external stakeholder networks.
• Self-motivated individual that excels in a fast-paced environment.
