KidsPeace National Centers of New England has an opening for a Training Specialist to work at its Graham Lake Campus located in Ellsworth, ME. We are eagerly seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Training Specialist to serve as a crucial part of the Human Resources team. This position has the responsibility of welcoming new associates to the KPNE workforce as well as supporting existing associates with ongoing training opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver orientation and new hire curriculum, b) scheduling and coordinate training calendars, c) ensure that associates meet all required/mandated trainings and maintain qualifications.
  • Organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers as required by various licensing agencies, the State of Maine and KidsPeace.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Committed to continuously seeking enhancement of content delivery based on current training methodologies and a variety of training techniques.

· Assist and help coordinate projects and administrative responsibilities that are specific to KidsPeace Initiatives.

Our next Training Specialist will have:

· At minimum an Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, organizational development, business, or related field preferred.

· Demonstrated training skills including, but not limited to training trainers, professional, senior, and entry level staff.

· Robust computer and organizational skills.

· Solid communication skills both written and oral.

· A desire to help ensure other’s succeed.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
