This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual seeking to work in one of Intel's business-critical RnD groups.

The Cloud Networking Group is revolutionizing cloud networking and is looking for an experienced, business-oriented technical project manager to implement and operationalize a new way of working (WoW) for Intel, called Enclave.
Enclave is a new WoW which empowers our engineering teams to execute faster, in a more streamlined way by applying new practices, faster decision making, increasing talent density, and rewarding for success. Enclave is paving the way for Intel's new execution culture.

This role includes managing critical aspects of the Enclave project:

  • Lead the Milestone Based Compensation project, a new compensation model, which closely tracks products' execution and couples them to the actual contribution of our engineers.

  • Partner to champion the RnD group in short- and long-term roadmap discussions and regularly influence leadership decision-making for various business and execution scenarios.

  • Manage various aspects of the group strategic goals and indicators (KPI, OKR, performance matrix, etc) and work closely with the leadership team to implement and track these.


The ideal candidate should exhibit a blend of technical background as well as business and market/industry acumen:

  • Strong stakeholder and interpersonal management skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams, organizations, and management levels.

  • Strong understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with IP and SOC development, and Ethernet technologies. This includes understanding of silicon, firmware and software development methods.

  • Comfortable influencing senior technical and business leaders, and able to work across geographies and under tight timelines to deliver high-quality analysis and recommendations.

  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and program management skills, with ability to build respect and influence across the organization without having solid-line management authority.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 10+ year of overall semiconductor industry experience.

  • Proven experience in Silicon Product Management, Strategic Planning or other engineering roles with business orientation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,950.00-$274,730.00

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
