- Work location: Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Dallas, TX
- Work hours: Full Time, 40 Hours, Monday – Friday, 8 Hour Days (7:30a-4p or 8:30a-5p)

What you need:
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years GI clinical experience required
- ERCP Tech experience preferred
- CNA – Certified Nurse Aide OR
- MA – Medical Assistant OR
- EMT – Emergency Medical Technician preferred AND
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
What you will do:
- Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
- Perform technical procedures safely and proficiently.
- Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
- Document accurately and appropriately.
- Assist in admission/transfer/discharge.
- In collaboration/consultation with nurse, adapt care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations.
- In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, incorporate cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care
- Support and meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and enhance patient care skills.
- Seek assistance and supervision when performing unfamiliar tasks.
- Serve as a patient advocate.
- Comply with personnel policies i.e. Attendance, ID badge, Dress Code, etc.
- Communicate per department expectations.
- Recognize and communicate ethical and legal concerns through established channels of communication.
- Identify realistic and measurable annual goals for ongoing skill development.
- Use appropriate communication structure.
- Acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co- workers, physicians, and other customers.
- Adapt to changing needs of unit, re: patient census, workload, and crisis situations.
- Function as preceptor in the training and evaluation of practice partners (if selected by Manager).
- Flexible with scheduling to help meet departmental/patient needs.
- Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and takes action to improve them.
- Participate in unit-based programs to monitor and continuously improve the quality of patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
