Key Role:

Manage consulting engagements and technology-based Information Technology (IT) solution projects for clients. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Evaluate unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Work with existing and new clients on the implementation of software products that meet business needs. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for software products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with program management and leading financial and resource management on large digital and systems development programs
  • Experience as the project manager for a large, complex technical contract working directly with the Client project manager and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Experience with the design and use of e-commerce or transaction-based software products
  • Experience with defining, designing, developing, and fielding large software solutions
  • Experience with building and leading teams of 20+ staff for government or commercial customers
  • Experience with developing staffing work plans and schedules based on high-level objectives
  • Experience in communicating with senior leadership, reporting results and issues
  • Ability to manage the overall delivery effort to ensure that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with reviewing contracts, responding to RFPs, and conducting business development efforts
  • Experience with developing competitive pricing proposals
  • Experience with managing software development efforts and implementation efforts for new and novel products
  • Experience with developing and shaping client demand and vehicles to leverage cutting edge solutions
  • Experience with managing and reporting risks
  • Knowledge of the recreation industry, e-commerce, reservation management, Agile software development, or product development methodology
  • Knowledge of software compliance standards and policies related to the processing and protection of personal and financial information
  • Ability to implement existing software products for new clients
  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
