Entry Equipment Technician Job at Arcosa Aggregates, Inc.
Arcosa Aggregates is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our Smithville, Texas plant. In this role you will support a
positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a equipment tech, you will perform basic preventive maintenance on the plant or heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment.
Arcosa Aggregates is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of natural aggregates, including crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.
- Comply with all company and industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work Environment
- In training
- Be involved with safety committee initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience preferred
- Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
