Entry Level Assembly Rebuild Maintenance Specialist - 1st Shift Job at NXP Semiconductors
Job Summary:
- Daily tasks include rebuilding and cleaning subassemblies for Etch and CVD equipment, performing PM tasks and support of subfab equipment, chemical handling, and ensuring an adequate supply of consumables for rebuilding sub-assemblies.
- Good foundational problem solving skills.
- Candidate must possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge and demonstrated aptitude with 5S principles and experience maintaining 5S organization within maintenance or parts management environment.
- Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and various other activities related to the success of the area.
- Self-motivated; able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility.
- Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
- Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum educational requirements are High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prefer 2-3 years of previous equipment maintenance and/or parts management.
- Prefer 3 to 5 years of related wafer fab experience with an emphasis on processing equipment.
- Prefer candidate to have greater than 12 hours towards an Associate degree in electronics from a recognized, accredited school.
- Microsoft Excel knowledge for data entry and tracking
