TSINY, a non-profit mental health agency is looking for Fiscal Clerks for its Administration Offices in Whitestone, NY. This is a great entry-level job to gain Finance experience with room to grow in the organization.

Position Summary
The Fiscal Clerks are responsible for the timely and accurate completion of clerical tasks related to the execution and maintenance of City and State contracts, financial reports, and budgets.

The Fiscal Clerks are responsible for the timely and accurate completion of clerical tasks related to the execution and maintenance of City and State contracts, financial reports, and budgets.
Essential Functions
- Data collection and maintenance, sourcing financial and statistical supporting documentation (eg. Levels of Service).
- Provide ongoing support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly invoicing.
- Prepare and submit remittance detail the ls to the finance department.
- Secure supporting documentation for internal and external audits. Includes, but not limited to, research/source payroll data, invoices, leases, journal entries, and other financial and statistical data.
- Coordination of contract budget and ancillary supporting documents (eg, DBA forms, VRQ schedules, insurance verification) required for government contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of grant final expenditure reports.
- Validation, maintenance, and organization of personnel action forms.
General
- Assist Senior Fiscal Directors and Fiscal Analyst as requested.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience/Education/Skills/Abilities
- Associate’s degree and 2 years related job experience or High School diploma and 5 years related job experience.
- Good communication and computer skills in Excel and Word. Proficient in basic office equipment.
- Must be organized and able to multi-task with attention to detail. Ability to work with peers and supervisors in a collegial environment.
Minimum qualifications may be waived in unusual circumstances with the approval of the CEO as long as City and State requirements are met.
