JOB SUMMARY
The Environmental Services Aide-Hospital maintains a sterile environment for designated areas and sanitary environment within the surgical/hospital areas. This requires thoroughly cleaning assigned areas per designated guidelines and standards demonstrating proper use of approved disinfectants, cleaning products and care of the housekeeping equipment. The Environmental Services Aide-Hospital maintains a safe environment, provides a service that focuses on the needs of the customers and maintains productive working relationships.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Must have attained the student rank of at least a sophomore in high school and must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred/Optional: High School degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Experience with reading and understanding written directions.
Preferred/Optional: One year cleaning experience in a healthcare field or commercial setting.

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
