Seeking an experienced Equipment Manager in the Huntington Beach area. The Equipment Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance and repairs of the production equipment & production support equipment.

Essential Functions

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Maintenance Department at all S. California locations.
• Compiles and presents weekly KPI's using MOS principles
• Drives continuous improvement activities using MOS tools and gap analysis
• Analyses and improves preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities through waste elimination
• Manges the labor cost for the department
• Develops and manages maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance schedules (PM) schedules for all the production equipment within the company's sites using asset management system
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Manages equipment repair budgets
• Maintains accurate documentation/ records pertaining to SOP's
• Supports EH&S department with all the safety initiatives
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
• Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
• Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
• Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
• Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
• Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.
• Able to understand and demonstrate the company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
• Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.
• Other duties as needed or required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• May have to make presentations to senior management in MOS meetings
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

• The candidate must have High School Diploma and 15+ years progressively responsible manufacturing/maintenance experience in the injection molding environment.
• He/ She must have experience with MES or Asset management software.
• He/ She must have experience leading a group of technicians in manufacturing environment.
• He/She must have some basic knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and PLC.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Rotational Molding/Pultrusion experience
• Automation using 6 axis robots
• Experience with Quick Mold change equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
