Equipment Operator I-Frac Job at Lewis Energy Group
Overview:
Operates blending and pumping equipment to fracture natural gas wells. Handles equipment operation for assigned jobs, including, but not limited to, maintaining equipment, assisting higher level operators in daily operations, ensuring required safety and operational procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (may include other duties as assigned)
Maintains assigned equipment. Performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements. Reports all operational deficiencies to supervisor and maintenance personnel.
Participates in rigging up and rigging down at assigned locations.
Assists upper level equipment operators.
Completes pre and post trip inspections and maintenance with associated paperwork, plus fuels and services the units. Maintains all required log books and inspection reports. Prepares equipment for next day use.
If CDL endorsement is obtained as a requirement of position or voluntarily while in the employment of LEG, employee will ensure that all applicable state/federal guidelines, rules and regulations that apply under (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Part 383) will be carried out in accordance with the law.
Qualifications:
Education
Minimum of high school diploma.
Experience
Minimum 1 year related experience.
Preferred 2 years oil and gas industry experience.
Other Requirements
General knowledge of oil and gas industry.
Experience with pumping equipment.
Commercial driver license with no restrictions.
Motor vehicle record (MVR) reflecting no convictions for recurring or serious violations or accidents.
Must maintain hazardous material (X) endorsement while employed.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit. Regularly required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift/move up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works in high, precarious places and exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is usually loud.
