The Role
The Workday Integration Analyst provides support for Nordic’s Human Resources technology systems. This position will work closely with the Human Resources and Talent teams and key business stakeholders across all departments regarding the Workday infrastructure. The Workday Integration Analyst must support Workday applications and drive improvements while adhering to Nordic’s technology guidelines and maintaining compliance with corporate information security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
The Workday Integration Analyst's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, coordinating, and leading activities related to the design, development, and implementation of system building within Workday
- Designing, building, testing, and deploying and maintaining integrations and reporting solutions within HR related domains (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.)
- Responsible for creating HRIS integrations and reports while leveraging tools to streamline and automate processes
- Developing, leading, and managing project plans based on scope and timeline
- Build complex integrations using the suite of Workday Integration tools (Reports-as-a-Service, EIB, Document Transformation, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio)
- Participate in documenting design strategies, technical business requirements and road maps for Nordic’s HR systems
- Manage resolution of integration and reporting issues and partnering with internal/external teams for resolution when necessary
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support design and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with internal and external technology stakeholders to ensure effective integration approaches
- Thoroughly test integrations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across functional teams.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and change management as needed
- Drive extensions using Workday Cloud Development Platform and operational excellence initiatives by building Boomerang Integrations when possible and automation of manual processes
- Create advance reports using complex calculated fields
- Evaluate Workday release enhancements and deliver updated technology as required
- Staying current with industry trends, identifying, and researching new technologies
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
- Designing, building, testing, and deploying HCM configuration as needed
- Researches and implements enhancements or security configuration that optimizes and streamlines the Workday environment to meet security policies and standards.
- Provides data or security expertise for projects and key initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with end users and other information services team members to develop a security solutions that meets business requirements and is supported by best practice
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Workday Certifications preferred
- 5+ years’ experience with application implementation, integrations, and administration
- 4+ years’ experience with HCM Architecture software or in system configuration and project management
- 3+ years’ working knowledge of integration related technologies such as SOAP, REST, WSDL, sFTP, XML/XSLT, PECI, PICOF, Workday Studio and Core Connector
- Ability to lead cross functional projects and interact with team members at all levels.
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
