The pay for this role can vary from $120,000 to $140,000 a year based on the selected individual's education and experience. Persistent Systems, a company manufacturing Ad hoc Networking (MANET) wireless systems for government and commercial applications, is looking for an individual who is highly motivated to join the IT/ERP team as an ERP Programmer. This position is required to work with various Persistent teams to develop software and reports for the Infor CSI/Syteline ERP package, test and implement deployments, create usage documentation, and support various user facing elements of the software.
Position Responsibilities
- Review user requirements and/or bug reports; and strategize solutions to address their needs.
- Customize or create forms and program VB/.net/C# scripts in Infor CSI/Syteline
- Create reports using tools such as SSRS and ColdFusion web applications
- Create or modify MS SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures to extend functionality and generate reports
- Thoroughly test all code, individually and along with the end users, to ensure a stable ERP environment is maintained
- Document all changes made to the software and utilize version control
- Prepare user documentation to help them with new or changed functionality
- Support IT technicians when users encounter issues with the ERP software
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related or comparable field
- 3 or more years of experience with Microsoft stack programming (VB/.net/C#)
- 3 or more years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server for queries/reports
- Functional knowledge of HTML/web programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated
- Able to work in a team environment and to fly solo without supervision when required
- Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud Suite Industrial/Syteline/Factory Track experience
- ColdFusion web application development skills
- SSRS reporting knowledge
- Familiarity with manufacturing/QC processes
- Planning and writing technical documentation
