Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Roofing Estimating Department Manager. This role requires an individual who excels at problem-solving while keeping the company’s best interests in mind. Analyst will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with Market Managers as they collaborate on product specifications, pricing, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to take offs in a timely fashion.
• Perform accurate data entry.
• Communicate between sales/markets and the builder to develop and maintain a copy of agreed upon specifications and scope of work for the home(s) or community.
• Input pre-formulated takeoff data into pricing model(s) to generate builder pricing
• Create proposal after specifications/scope have been established.
• Develop strong roofing knowledge to review and recognize errors in takeoffs and other spreadsheets; and effectively present information and respond to questions from the markets, customers, and staff.
• Perform administrative duties associated with maintaining job folders and spreadsheets.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software and Internet.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of data entry experience, specifically in Excel.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Construction experience preferred.
