Taylor Construction Inc. is a family-owned heavy and highway contractor in Eastern Iowa with 44 years delivering high quality construction services. We are seeking an experienced project manager to manage bridge construction projects, concrete foundation projects, whitewater recreation parks & construction projects up to $5MM in size. Minimum qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
- 5 Year Construction Management or Engineering Degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience
- Proficient in math and computing skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Immediate Duties will include:
- Deliver ideas and plans to win profitable work
- Aid field supervisors in project start details and critical path points
- Review and process submittals
- Preparation and completion of change orders
- Attend pre-construction meetings.
- Follow project to final completion.
Software used for this position:
- Sage Timberline
- Prepare Bids using Construction Link Software
- Prepare Critical Path project schedule using Sure Trak
Job Type: Full-time/Year round position
Required experience:
- Project Management: 5 years on projects in the heavy/highway industry
- Construction Industry knowledge
- Required education: Bachelor's Degree
